In the first instalment of our interview with Lush FD Kim Coles she talks about how the finance team can help boost customer service.
“Take our stores where we have worked hard as we’ve grown to change from fairly manual to automated, more efficient processing systems. Less faxes, administration and manual input and better automated stock checking means our staff don’t take hours out of their day away from the customer on the shop floor. As an FD you have to help the stores find ways to keep up with their accounts whilst not affecting the customer. It is really important to us that our staff spend a lot of time with our customers.”
