Kim Coles of Lush on business rates and women in business

In the final part of our interview with Lush FD she talks about gender and women in senior management roles and business rates.

“Gender has never been an issue. It’s not something I’ve ever thought about. We have a lot of senior women here at Lush,” she says.

“Business rates are our biggest groan. The rates are much lower than in Europe and it does hit retailers margins. The Government’s recent announcement on business rates and devolution will only touch the surface. They can do more.”
