		<description>It is good to see this blog is read by someone as eminent as David Blanchflower but the Sunday Times letter did not bear the name of this former member of the Bank of England's monetary policy committee. I said his name was on letters sent to The Times and the FT - as it was.</description>

I realise that my name was on a letter published in the Sunday Times, but I have no knowledge of the letter, have never set eyes on it and did not sign it!  i have asked the Sunday Times to print a retraction.
