By Jove! – has he got it?

London’s Mayor Boris Johnson is urging the city’s businesses to save money by improving their environmental performance and has said that seeing competitors win a contest to find the capital’s most sustainable companies could inspire firms to turn ‘green with envy’. (as reported by EDIE.net).

The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) – another bill?

Hot on the heels of the Climate Change Act 2008, which came into force in November of last year, comes the announcement of the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC), planned to start in April 2010 and described as “a UK-wide scheme to encourage organisations to reduce their carbon emissions”.
